Personal Stylist Assistant
The ideal Personal Stylist Assistant is motivated, results-oriented and committed to providing outstanding employee support and customer service every day. This is a seasonal position for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale with an opportunity to stay with the company after the sale's completion.
A day in the life...
- Support the Personal Styling team to perform all aspects of the selling process during the Anniversary Sale
- Provide a positive customer experience by accurately handling all customer orders
- Handle customer merchandise coming in and out of the department
- Assist the Customer Relationship Coordinator in supporting the needs of the Personal Stylists, handling customer requests, and scheduling or adjusting styling appointments
- Complete sales transactions at the cash register
- Process special orders and follow-up on merchandise being sent from other stores
- Support team goals and build positive relationships
- Greet customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner

- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- The ability to develop relationships with customers and coworkers
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and enthusiasm about fashion
- The ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
- A high level of ownership, accountability and initiative
