This position is with the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), Fair Trade Practices Program (FTPP), Packers and Stockyards Division (PSD). You will serve as an Auditor for a Regional Office within an assigned region and is primarily responsible for carrying out the enforcement of jurisdictional and financial provisions of the Packers and Stockyards Act of 1921 (the Act). This is mainly done by conducting investigative work, direct surveillance, and related work pertaining to the PSD program.

BASIC REQUIREMENT
Degree: accounting, auditing; or a degree including auditing courses in a related field such as business administration, finance, or public administration that included or was supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting. The 24 hours may include up to 6 hours of credit in business law.

Graduates with a bachelor's degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher qualify as a GS-7. Position includes promotion potential to a GS-12.
