Environmental Resource Technician

Nature of Work
This is an advanced technical position involved with sampling, laboratory analysis, data analysis, and monitoring of environmental quality in various types of water, and solids. Work includes investigating and regulating water quality problems, calibration and troubleshooting of equipment. This work is performed under the supervision of the Environmental Assessment Supervisor and/or the lead worker designee. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of an associate's degree in environmental or physical science or three years of experience in environmental monitoring and testing or any equivalent combination of training and experience

Possession of a valid Michigan driver's license.

OTHER DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid Michigan water treatment or wastewater treatment operator's license, preferred.
