Microsoft Configuration Manager Administrator (SCCM)

THE POSITION

We're hiring a Microsoft Configuration Manager Administrator (SCCM) for the System and Software Deployment Unit of our Information Technology department. The core focus of this position is Image Management & Deployment using both On-premises and Cloud based toolsets. The team as a whole is responsible for supporting the computing environment of the nearly 14,000 devices across the enterprise. 

Candidates must have a right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by an employer.
 
Location and hours:
This position is currently being performed remotely due to COVID-19. This position is typically located at the Government Center in downtown Minneapolis at 300 South 6th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55487. Work hours will primarily be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and are flexible. This team also has a shared rotating on-call shift.

About the position type:
This is a full-time, benefit earning position. This position is eligible to receive an additional cash merit of up to $2,269.10 that can be earned annually based on performance.

In this position, you will:
  • Troubleshoot and provide direction for resolution of complex technical issues. Analyze and solve critical problems.
  • Support Operating System Deployment via SCCM Task Sequences & custom Windows 10 Images.
  • Manage Microsoft Endpoint Management Infrastructure.
  • Manage multiple MDM solutions covering Windows 10, iOS, iPadOS, MacOS, AndroidOS, and ChromeOS.
  • Manage Group Policy for an Enterprise Setting, and consult on GPO configurations with partner agencies.
  • Configure and Deploy Windows 10 Policies, Settings, and Deployments, Using Microsoft Endpoint Manager and AutoPilot in a Hybrid Cloud Environment.
Need to have:
  • One of the following:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science/engineering, or a related information technology field and three years or more of IT administration or IT database administration experience. 
  • Associate's/vocational/technical degree in an information technology field and five years or more of experience in information technology.
  • Seven years or more of information technology experience.
Nice to have:
  • Experience with:
  • Microsoft Endpoint Manager & Configuration Manager.
  • Supporting Operating System Deployment using SCCM task sequences and creating, editing, and deploying custom task sequences based on business, hardware, and architectural requirements
  • Intune MDM (device configuration, policies, etc.).
  • Context switching and working on multiple concurrent projects.
