Performance Analyst

BrightEdge is looking for an Performance Analyst to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging data and analytics along with iterative testing to drive success to marketing organizations. The successful candidate thrives in a fast paced, data-driven environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats. 
 
This is a role that will work with Product, Business Operations, Customer Success, and Integrations teams to test efficacy of SEO concepts and methodologies to help us isolate how best to drive performance to our customers. 
 
Core Responsibilities 
  • Evaluate customer data sources to build efficient methods and apply technologies to streamline processes with the intention of increasing retention rate 
  • Maintain a customer-centric focus by striving to be a domain and product expert through data, and ensure that your team has access to data to make decisions 
  • Own the comprehensive analysis of data keyword data and compile daily performance reports to actively seek new solutions  
  • A/B testing: Measure, monitor, and improve real SEO concepts on brand name websites that millions of people engage with daily 
  • Run queries on databases and organize, analyze and interpret data to explain test results, trends, and anomalies  
  • Optimize existing content through internal linking 
  • Conduct ad-hoc SEO tasks, data analysis, and reporting as requested 
 
What it Takes to Be Successful 
  • No experience is required, but we're looking for someone who is willing to roll-up their sleeves and actively learn and grow in this role 
  • GPA of 3.5 and above 
  • Proven organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands 
  • Effective project management skills with the ability to prioritize and work efficiently with minimal time wasted 
  • Motivated self-starter with a high capacity for learning and adapting in an agile environment 
  • Eager and proactive in managing tasks and projects to deliver while working in cross functional teams 
  • Demonstrated ability to zero in on critical details with complete accuracy and attention
