The International Trade Administration Global Markets office is looking to hire International Trade Specialists.

The positions in the US Field (Irvine, Boise, Baltimore, San Antonio) will be to:
*Conducts market research and disseminates trade information and materials on government
products and services to U.S. businesses and associates.
*Counsels current and potential U.S. exporters to meet client export market development objectives.

The positions in Washington, DC, are for the SelectUSA office and the Asia office.

Investment Promotion and Program Coordination:  SelectUSA programs and services support two primary customers, i.e., business investors, both international and domestic; and economic development organizations. (EDOs). The Investment Specialists performs investment promotion and facilitation services, issue and investment policy analysis, and associated functions which support industries and/or markets critical to U.S. investment priorities and objectives. Participates in the development and implementation of significant new investment promotion/facilitation programs and strategies; analyzes solutions to investment-related questions or concerns, and contributes to significant agency decisions, policy recommendations and positions on international investment issues; represents the agency to economic development organizations, firms, foreign governments, key industry sectors and associations; plans and participates in major, high-priority investment programs and events which are central to agency objectives.

GM Asia: Global Markets assists and advocates for U.S. businesses in international markets to foster U.S. economic prosperity. Global Markets promotes U.S. exports, especially among small and medium-sized enterprises; advances and protects U.S. commercial interests overseas; and attracts inward investment into the United States.
