The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and the Department of Human Services (DHS) together have launched a new COVID-19 Response and Recovery Unit (CRRU). The CRRU is recruiting for a COVID-19 Registrar (Research Analyst 1). The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 8-5 p.m., with a remote work option possibility near Portland, OR. to be negotiated at the time of hire.

What will you do?
You will maintain the reportable communicable disease surveillance system for the CRRU which comprises Oregon’s reportable communicable disease for COVID-19.  You will be a cornerstone for quality assurance of Oregon's disease surveillance systems and be responsible for data entry for Wallowa county cases. In addition, you will perform continual analysis and reporting of incoming data from multiple electronic data sources to identify and rectify duplicate case data. You will also be responsible for record-retention management of all our hard copies.  
 
What are we looking for?
Requested Skills
·       Minimum Requirements: College-level coursework that includes at least three quarter units in business or technical report writing, three quarter units in quantitative analysis or statistical principles, and six quarter units in computer concepts and microcomputer applications such as word-processing, spread sheet and database.
OR
One year of experience in work that included gathering data from various sources and using software applications to retrieve, edit or tabulate data into forms or reports.
·       Strong written and verbal communication skills.
·       Experience prioritizing and managing many priorities at once.
·       Experience with standard technical language to discuss data and maintain high-quality reporting.
·       Experience with word and data processing software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Teams and experience with Smartsheets is desirable.
·       Experience working independently, problem-solving and organizing routine clerical operations.
·       Note: this position requires you to work at a computer for long periods of time.
·       Experience promoting a culturally competent and diverse work environment.
