Compliance Coordinator – La Crosse, WI or Remote

LHI was founded in 1999 and acquired by Optum in 2011. LHI specializes in creating and managing health care programs through on – location services, patient – specific in – clinic appointments, telehealth assessments, or any combination based on customer need. LHI’s customizable solutions serve the diverse needs of commercial customers, as well as federal and state agencies, including the U.S. Departments of Defense, Veterans Affairs, and Health and Human Services.

The Credentialing Compliance Coordinator will maintain and ensure credentialing and contractual compliance of LHI’s practitioner network. Keep practitioner records up – to – date by retrieving expiring credentialing components and processing compliance reports within the strict deadlines. Conduct carious administrative activities to ensure on – going monitoring and compliance.

Telecommute is only available to internal employees currently in a telecommute position.

Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Manage monthly credentialing components that are due for expiration by retrieving or verifying through the appropriate sources..
  • Responsible for updating practitioner statuses identified by the compliance or non – compliance of credentialing or contractual requirements and sending applicable notification.  
  • Complete weekly and monthly reports that track compliance issues
  • Perform reviews and follow up as needed.
  • Review monthly on – going monitoring reports from outside vendor on LHI’s entire practitioner network and sending applicable notification within strict deadlines

Required Qualifications: 
  • High School Diploma / GED or higher
  • 2+ years of experience working in a business or office environment
  • Intermediate to Expert experience using the MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook (ability to create, edit, save and send documents / spreadsheets, ability to send / receive emails)
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas, In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.
Preferred Qualifications:  
  • Database experience and working with electronic files / documents
  • Administrative support in a medical, dental or healthcare environment
  • National Career Readiness Certificate
  • Knowledge of basic healthcare terminology
