Lead Operations Research Analyst, GS-1515-14 (Full Performance Level 14)

This position is located within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Management and Administration (M&A), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO).  The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior expert-level Operations Research Analyst leading a team of Management and Program Analyst responsible for managing, coordinating, or contributing to projects related to the planning and execution of assignments and focused on analyzing, assessing and improving the financial and budgetary reporting effectiveness and efficiency of work methods, processes and procedures used in budgetary and financial management for the ICE Enterprise. 

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has established a basic educational requirement that is outlined in the Individual Occupational Requirements (IORs) for the Operations Research, 1515 series and are as follows: Degree: In operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus. IN ADDITION TO MEETING THE BASIC EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS, YOU MUST ALSO MEET OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS.
