Health Scientist Administrator
This position islocated in the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) in Silver Spring, MD. This is a Direct Hire recruitment with the Food and Drug Administration.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance in matters pertaining to product assignment and regulation.
- Contribute to development of policy documents related to medical and combination products.
- Advise senior managers about jurisdiction and combination product law, regulation, and policy.
- Provide advice, guidance, and recommendations that reflect sound judgment and knowledge of current science and the applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to product jurisdiction.
- Communicate new policies and programs to internal and external stakeholders.
- Review complex medical products that incorporate rapidly advancing technologies to include novel manufacturing processes.
