Communications Officer

Becoming a Communications Officer for the Walworth County Sheriff's Office offers you an exciting opportunity to make a difference in your community.  Communications Officers fill a critical role in the public safety mission.  As a Communications Officer you will be the first point of contact for a citizen needing police, fire, or EMS assistance in Walworth County.  You will work in a fast paced team environment to provide mission support for first responder units in the field.  As a Communications Officer you are the first line of first responders and you are an essential part of the public safety team.  The work of the Communications Officer is often exciting, but can be interspaced with long periods of inactivity.
