Sr. Credit Risk Officer ( Credit Review & Credit Origination)

Serve as a Senior Credit Risk Officer in the credit risk analysis of Title XVII, Tribal Energy Loan Guarantee Program and Advanced Technology Vehicle Manufacturing (ATVM) approved projects to highlight risks to full and timely repayment of proposed or outstanding loan amounts, determine expected portfolio loss and value distributions, quantify and stress test the probability of portfolio credit losses.

Serve as Risk Management Division’s (RMD) leading representative on one or more teams evaluating proposed new projects under the respective loan programs (Credit Origination) as well as a leading role in the review of one or more existing projects in the LPO portfolio (Credit Review).

Approves and writes detailed credit assessments, independently exercises credit judgment and provides recommendations to the supervisory senior credit officer or senior executive management team.

Perform risk based independent reviews of all types of loans in the existing portfolios (including underwriting reviews) to identify current or potential problems, as well as positive elements, regarding the assessment of credit risk and the administration of loan exposure.

Determine the accuracy of assigned internal credit risk ratings, non-compliance policies and procedures, loan weaknesses so that timely corrective actions can be taken, violations of laws and regulations and inadequate credit/collateral documentation. Communicates credit issues and recommendations to senior management in written reports and oral presentations.
