Public Health Nurse

Johnson County Public Health seeks one full-time and one part-time Registered Nurse to provide nursing services in the Clinical Services division, including services for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), Maternal/Child and Adolescent Health (MCAH), and childcare sites. Duties include administering screening tests and immunizations, providing education and care coordination, and providing services to support childcare providers in meeting the health and safety needs of children.

 

Qualified applicants must have a minimum of an Associate’s degree in nursing and two (2) years of general nursing experience in pediatric, maternal, school, or public health preferred. Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa. Experience administering adult/child immunizations, knowledge of maternal health, and bilingual Spanish, French, or Arabic preferred.
