POSITION AT A GLANCE
- Our preferred candidates can lead a team of volunteers to provide excellent customer experience to a diverse group of tax and financial services customers.
- This part-time, seasonal position is scheduled for an average of 15 hours from December 5, 2019 to April 15, 2020.
- This position is available at Prepare + Prosper’s nine tax site locations. Managers will work out of one location in St. Paul, Minneapolis, Bloomington, or Hopkins.
- This position supervises volunteers providing tax and financial services to customers and also directly interacts with and supports customers.
WHY THIS POSITION IS IMPORTANT
As the site manager, you take the lead in making sure customers are receiving excellent tax
preparation and financial services, from the beginning to the end of their visit at Prepare +
Prosper’s (P+P) free clinic. You will co-manage and supervise a team of 10 to 18 volunteers
who are responsible for welcoming and screening customers, preparing, and reviewing tax
returns, and helping customers sign up for financial services and products.
The success of your team lies in the ability to approach customers with confidence and put
them at east when discussing sensitive and private financial matters. Overall, you will provide
leadership and management in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Along with your co-manager, you are responsible for the delivery of high-quality services and
positive customer experiences. Additional common duties include answering questions from
customers, helping in situations where a managerial decision is necessary, and providing
customer education regarding tax clinic flow, P+P’s financial services and products, and tax
situations.
