Partnership for Children and Families Coordinator

The Mesa County Partnership for Children and Families is one of over thirty Early Childhood Councils in the State of Colorado providing support and leadership to the community through prevention, education, collaboration and advocacy. The Partnership for Children & Families creates, coordinates, and sustains a resource rich community for all families so that children reach their full potential in safe and optimally nurturing environments.

The Partnership for Children and Families is looking for a dynamic individual to lead the organization through its four core focus areas:
  • Expanding childcare options for families and for business owners;
  • Strengthening the growth and development of the local workforce of early childhood care and education professionals;
  • Promoting programs and advocating for policies that best support children and families;
  • Serving as the early childhood “hub” for information about and connection to related resources and efforts in Mesa County.
Candidates must have strong communication skills, solid fiscal management skills, grant writing, administration and reporting ability, and successful experience working with multiple community partners. This position requires an individual with innovation, flexibility, strong organizational skills and ability to work independently. 

This position is primarily days however some evening and weekend meetings are possible.

The Partnership for Children and Families is located at the Hilltop Family Resource Center in Grand Junction. Partnership for Children and Families is a partner agency of Hilltop Community Resources (Hilltop is the fiscal and human resource manager).
