Election Aides (Community Service Aide II)

City of Portland is seeking for Election Aide to join our team!

Elections Aides will assist in implementation of the Open and Accountable Elections program, by reviewing the data campaigns submit about each of their contributions and expenditures, as well as supporting documentation. Elections Aides will categorize campaign submitted transactions as in compliance with program rules or out of compliance with program rules, and review documentation for accuracy. This may include comparing signatures on documents to signatures on the voter file, in which case training will be provided. In addition, Elections aides will assist in the production of form postcards to be sent to campaign donors, as well as processing returned postcards. This will also include other duties as assigned, all related to implementation of the Open and Accountable Elections program.

This position is not benefit eligible.

Position Type: This position will be part-time with the possibility of full time for a temporary duration.

Work Schedule: Work schedule can be flexible in regards to your start and end date, flexible number of hours per week and days of the week. Location of this position can be flexible.

  2. Ability to file/recordkeeping data with high degree with accuracy.
