Industrial Services Hoist Repair & Recertification 
3833 Airport Rd., Denton, TX 76207 
Full-Time Shift(s): Monday-Friday 7am-5pm 

OVERVIEW: 
Working as Full-Time Industrial Services Hoist Repair & Recertification, you will be involved with the overall success of the department by efficiently repairing and recertifying hoists. You will be diagnosing, quoting, and repairing a wide variety of Electric, Pneumatic, and Manual Chain Fall Hoists. Fastenal services a wide variety of hoist brands including most major national brands. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: 
o Processing customer hoist inspections and recertification work orders 
o Quoting repair costs on a wide variety of hoists 
o Using calibrated equipment to measure specific parts of the hoists (micrometer, calipers, tape measure, etc.) 
o Inspecting and testing hoists using various hydraulic load test equipment 
o Performing end-of-day tasks such as, filing, cleaning, and filling supplies 
o Communicating with Fastenal branches and vendors 
o Following all ISO (International Standardization Organization) quality procedures 
o Complying with safety regulations 

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: 
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: 
o A valid driver's license and the ability to meet our driving record requirements 
o Excellent written and oral communication skills 
o Possess strong computer skills and math aptitude 
o Mechanically inclined and customer service oriented 
o Demonstrate strong attention to detail 
o Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment 
o Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment 
o Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule 
o Willingness and ability to travel for trainings and customer visits 
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork 
o Ability to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs 
o Ability to pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY) 

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: 
o Working knowledge or experience in repairing hoists or rigging equipment 
o Knowledge of ASME B30 and OSHA standards, such as 1910.179 & 184
