Reinsurance Accounting and Claims Analyst

We are currently looking for an entry-level Accounting and Claims Analyst to join our team in our growing Minneapolis office.
As an Analyst you are a member of reinsurance Accounting and Claims team that facilitates reinsurance accounting and claims activity. You will work with the general assistance and support from senior team members. The role of the Analyst encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including providing technical reinsurance expertise for clients, reinsurers, and BMS operating and production units. You will assist Managers and team members with developing creative solutions to enhance client service and implement processes and procedures to improve consistency and drive efficiencies.
Successful candidates will possess the following required skills and experience:
- BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university with a degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, Math Economics or other similarly quantitative or analytically oriented major
- Ability to see big picture with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage time, prioritize and work to deadlines; adept at multi-tasking with strong organizational skills
- Highly collaborative personality with ability to maintain positive client relationships; flexible to meet the needs and demands of a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with internal and external clients and vendors through both verbal and written means with excellent listening ability
- Ability to make good decisions using independent judgment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint experience
