Risk Specialist

Perform technical duties and assist staff with duties relating to the City’s Risk Management programs, insurance, and liability claims adjudication system.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in business administration, public administration, or related field and a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in risk management, statistical, or safety management functions; or any such combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority.

An Associate in Claims designation (AIC) or higher designation as recognized by the Insurance Institute of America is desired.

Must possess or be able to obtain prior to hire a valid driver’s license.
