Application Developer / Business Analyst
Under the direct supervision of the Assistant IT Director, this position's primary responsibilities will be Application Development and Coding, System Integration, SQL Database Development and Maintenance, Maintain Application Infrastructure and Development Environment, Business Analysis and Project Management, and Vendor Management for IT projects and user requests.
This position will primarily support the Department of Human Services and other County departments as assigned. Successful candidate will have experience working with customers to find and implement solutions to their IT needs, including process improvement. Strong emphasis on Customer Service by interacting positively and effectively with others for timely results is essential. This position requires independent, hands-on work to assure customer satisfaction; working efficiently with other IT staff to find and implement solutions; and perform multi-level hardware and software support as needed.
Other responsibilities include: perform troubleshooting; establish and follow software development processes, policies and standards; perform application software operations procedures; participate in professional staff development; provide technical and user documentation for staff training.
