Position Summary:

The University at Buffalo seeks a Senior Programmer Analyst to assist with the development, testing, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of applications, processes, and databases that support the operations of the Financial Aid Office.

• Support, maintain and troubleshoot software application systems including Oracle/PeopleSoft ERO
• Analyze and assess the needs for future enhancements and function improvements.
• Assist with functional implementation/upgrades of systems
• Write and execute queries for ad hoc reporting utilizing system reporting tools and data mining techniques

The incumbent will have some evening and weekend work to support financial aid events

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and experience in software application set-up, testing and application security.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree. Experience with PeopleSoft and in higher-education.
