Insurance Support

OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-Time Auto Insurance Support, you will perform duties related to the investigation, evaluation, and resolution of auto accidents and auto insurance claims. Our detailed training process will help provide you the knowledge and experience needed to effectively evaluate and address auto claims. Successful candidates must have an eagerness to learn and ask questions. This position requires availability Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Conducting office-based investigations on auto accidents to gather facts and determine fault
o Evaluating documentation to identify claim related damage to property and vehicles
o Reviewing estimates from repair facilities for damaged vehicles
o Filing, generating internal reports, and other general administrative duties
o Corresponding with Fastenal employees, claimants, insurance adjusters, witnesses, repair facilities, special investigators, attorneys, and all other persons involved in the claims process through telephone and electronic communications

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning, prioritizing abilities and attention to detail
o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning, and decision making skills
o Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
o Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
o Ability to pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Previous experience or education in Insurance, Human resources, Business Law, Finance, or Risk Management.
