IT Business Analyst
| OVERVIEW: Working as a Full-Time IT Business Analyst, you will be working with stakeholders and developers to translate requirements into functional and technical design documents, and to ensure that the applications developed are meeting those requirements by creating functional, unit and volume tests. You will work with end users to define and clarify business objectives. This position includes working with 3rd party ERP Financial System applications and in-house custom software, as well as providing non-technical suggestions for solving business process issues. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Prioritizing issues with business and development team o Documenting and communicating business process flows o Creating functional design documents o Designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures o Testing system modifications to prepare for implementation o Developing and executing manual and automated test scripts o Ensuring training is sufficient and communicating deployment information to stakeholders o Providing high quality application support REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Strong computer skills and math aptitude o Strong understanding of financial business processes and requirements o Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented o Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a team environment o Excellent time management skills o Demonstrate strong attention to detail o Ability to excel in a fast-paced, growing company o Ability to pass the required drug screen and background check (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: o Posses or are working towards a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, or related field o Prior work experience in Accounting, Business Management, or related field o Prior experience working with or supporting users of a Financials ERP system.
