Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LADC) Supervisor

Community Addiction Recovery Enterprise (CARE) in St. Peter is
seeking a talented and experienced Licensed Alcohol & Drug
Counselor to provide clinical supervision of counseling and case
management services at a facility dedicated to helping people on
the road to recovery. Operated by the Minnesota Department of
Human Services, CARE provides inpatient and outpatient substance
abuse treatment for adults and adolescents with chemical
dependency disorders. All services are person-centered, building
on the individual's interests and capacity for growth, leading to
a lifelong process of recovery. This is a full-time position,
working Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., and eligible for

Job Description:
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the
variety of chemical dependency and dual diagnosis treatment
activities. Provide clinical supervision for chemical dependency
counseling services and case management for clients often with
co-existing mood and thought disorders. Assist in the development
and maintenance of a treatment milieu that is therapeutic in
nature, as well as effective, efficient, and fiscally viable.
Maintain records and prepare reports on department activities.
Complement the supervisor in the management of the treatment
program and assume the duties of the Program Manager in that
person's absence.

Qualifications:
Applicants must be licensed as an Alcohol & Drug Counselor by the
State of Minnesota and have at least three (3) years of
experience providing individual and group counseling to clients
with chemical dependency. Also requires a valid driver’s
license.
