Mental Health Professional

Community Behavioral Health Hospital (CBHH) in Rochester is
seeking a talented Mental Health Professional to join our team as
a State of Minnesota employee. With just 16 beds, the CBHH is a
small inpatient psychiatric facility providing rapid assessment
and stabilization for adults experiencing an acute mental health
episode. Treatment and programming utilize the Illness Management
& Recovery model of care in tandem with Person-Centered Planning,
and this role is an integral member of the interdisciplinary
team. This full-time position works primarily weekdays, with
occasional evenings and weekends, and is eligible for full
benefits and insurance coverage.

Job Description:
Provide consultation to program delivery staff and to other
professional staff regarding the overall treatment and treatment
process for mentally ill patients served at a Community
Behavioral Health Hospital (CBHH). Patients served are in an
acute state of psychiatric status and typically have multiple
clinical issues/co-morbidity. Therefore, the person in this
position must have a broad range of clinical experience, advanced
training in clinical assessment procedures, advanced knowledge of
psychological theory and principles, and training in crisis
intervention. This position will also participate in ongoing
program design and implementation.

Other:
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in psychology or closely related field from
an accredited program; AND
• Licensure to practice in Minnesota as a Licensed Psychologist
(LP), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW),
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed
Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
